This best winter dish is chicken gnocchi soup crockpot, a delicious blend of chicken and gnocchi potatoes that will warm you up.
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 leeks
  • 2 sticks chopped celery
  • 4 cloves sliced garlic
  • 3 cups discarded broccoli stems and finely chopped
  • 1.5 liters of chicken stock
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 500 g ripe gnocchi
  • ½ cup cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • lemon juice to taste
  1. The first step begins to melt 1 tbsp of butter with 1 tbsp of olive oil in a saucepan.
  2. Then, put chopped onions, 2 stems of scallions, chopped celery, broccoli, and sliced garlic. Sauté and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. If it starts to brown add 1.5 liters of chicken stock, chicken breast, and 2 bay leaves.
  4. Cover the pan, letting it boil until the chicken is cooked and infused.
  5. Remove the chicken from the soup and grate using 2 forks.
  6. On the other hand, cook the gnocchi in a large saucepan of salted water.
  7. After that add the shredded chicken, broccoli, cream, and cooked gnocchi.
  8. Once the broccoli is cooked, season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Stir until all is well mixed.
