Best Old Fashioned Hearty Beef Stew Recipe is the perfect dish in cold weather. It only takes 5 hours and 30 minutes to get a super delicious and light taste in the mouth. This recipe is a mainstay in my family.
  • 1 kg beef, diced or round
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 6 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 3 medium-sized carrots, peeled and sliced halfa length thick first
  • 2 celery sticks, cut transversely into slices
  • 1 cup frozen peas, optional
  • 28 ounces mashed tomatoes
  • 2 cups of water
  • 3 tbsp instant tapioca
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  1. Put all the seasoning and the beef. Then add 2 glasses of water to the dutch oven by covering it tightly.
  2. Stir occasionally, to facilitate the stirring that is on top so that the seasoning can absorb well.
  3. Cook for 5 hours, and lift the serve onto the table neatly.
